Sharon Hanks

“I’ve been a driving instructor since 2003, teaching in and around London.”

Before moving to the Isle of Wight in 2016, I achieved the QEF standard for teaching people with disabilities and now teach in an automatic car that can be adapted for you with the latest technology to assist you if you require the use of: –

  • A steering ball.
  • Remote secondary controls (Lodgeson).
  • A left foot accelerator.
  • An easy release handbrake.

My qualifications also include deaf awareness instruction for those who have hearing impairments and can lip read. Helping people, with disabilities, to drive safely has been the most rewarding work I have ever done.

Whether you are a new driver wishing to get a full driving licence, an older driver wishing to pass a Motability or DVLA assessment to have your licence reinstated or would just like some refresher lessons after not driving for a long while, please do not hesitate to contact me to have a chat about lessons and discuss your requirements including help with passing the theory test?

Please feel free to contact me directly.
